We hope you'll join us for this fun-filled road race in East Cobb!
The 5K is a USATF certified course and an official Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifier. Plus walkers and strollers are welcome as untimed participants.

The starting line and finish line for the 5K are in the Eastside Christian School Student Center parking lot.
The kids’ Fun Run 50 meter dash and 1/2 kilometer* run will also start and finish in the Student Center parking lot and are on the school campus.
*1/2 kilometer is a little over 1/4 mile
Directions
From Atlanta: Take I-75 North. Exit at S Marietta Parkway (Exit 263). Turn right off the exit. Turn right at Lower Roswell Road. The school is on the right, at the intersection of Lower Roswell Road and Little Road. Follow signs for event parking.
Parking
Free on-site parking is available. Follow parking signs to the North and South Lots.

Time & Course Details
5K Start Time
7:45AM (Course closes at 8:45 am)
*All timed runners will be allowed to start before untimed runners/walkers.
Post-race refreshments are provided for all 5K runners.
Fun Run Start Time & Information
9:00AM 50 Yard Dash (Ages 5 and Under)
9:10AM 1/2 Kilometer Run
NEW format this year! The 50 yard dash and 1/2 Kilometer (a little over 1/4 mile) kids fun run is untimed. However, the top three finishers of each race will receive a medal.
There will also be a bouncy house available for fun run participants to enjoy before or after their race.
*No strollers, bicycles, roller blades, or pets allowed on the fun run course. Parents must supervise their children during the Fun Run.

Course Details
NEW FAST FLAT course this year! Runners will enjoy this flat out and back course.
The Fun Run 50 yard dash and 1/2 kilometer run take place on the campus of Eastside Christian School, with the start and finish lines in the Student Center parking lot.
Race Day Fun
We hope that the East Cobb Classic is a fun morning for the whole family! Chick-fil-A East Lake will be selling breakfast items, Martha's Outpost will be selling coffee, and some of our sponsors will have tents for you to visit. There will also be a bouncy house and other fun activities for the kids.
Safety
You should not participate in either event if you are sick. Be aware of the weather and take appropriate precautions to hydrate, dress appropriately, and stay alert.
Dogs are NOT allowed on the course.
Strollers are allowed on the course, however they will start behind all runners without strollers.
Participants should keep in mind that the course closes 1 hour after the race start. One hour after the race start, any participants still on the course will be asked to move to the sidewalk and will be responsible for following pedestrian safety precautions. The course will re-open to vehicles one hour after the race start time.
There will be one water station on the 5K course between mile one and two. In addition, there will be water available for participants at the end of the race. Water will also be provided for participants at the end of the Fun Run.
Results & Awards
Timing and results will be posted here within 24 hours of the conclusion of the race.
Awards ceremony will be held directly after the race.
Overall and Age Group awards will be given to 5K timed participants only, in the following categories:
- Top 3 Overall Male and Female
- Top 3 Male and Female finishers in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
NOTE: Age divisions follow the criteria for USATF age divisions and are based on year of birth - the age on December 31 of the current year. ie. An athlete is counted as the age that they are or will be during the current calendar year.
Awards not claimed at the event will be available for pick-up on specified date(s) the following week.
*Overall Male and Female finishers are not included in age group awards.
